How OneGrid handles information about fans and about the artists and managers who use it. Written to be read, not to be survived.
When you pre-save a release, join a list, enter a giveaway or buy something, we store what you gave us: your email address, your phone number if you entered one, and what you signed up for.
If you connect Spotify to pre-save a release, we store the access token Spotify gives us so we can add the record to your library on release day. We never see your Spotify password, and you can disconnect OneGrid from your Spotify account settings at any time.
Pages also record which link you tapped, roughly where you were (country, region, city — from your network address, never precise location), and which ad or campaign sent you. In the EU, EEA, the UK and Switzerland the advertising and measurement pixels do not run at all until you accept them on the banner; decline, or ignore it, and they stay off.
An artist's information reaches OneGrid through their manager, or through the artist's own account: name, contact details, contracts, payout details, release metadata and financial records needed to run the business relationship.
We are a processor for that data on the manager's behalf. The manager decides what is stored and for how long.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the services that make the product work:
Each of them handles the data only to provide their service to us.
We set a small number of first-party cookies. One of them, og_consent, records your answer to the cookie banner for twelve months so we do not ask again on every page.
Advertising pixels (Meta, TikTok, Google Analytics) set their own cookies when they run. In the EU, EEA, the UK and Switzerland they only run after you accept. Everywhere else they run by default, and you can block them with your browser's tracking protection.
Fan records are kept while the artist is using OneGrid, and are deleted when the artist's account is closed or when you ask us to remove you.
Financial and contractual records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, which is typically seven years. [Counsel: confirm the retention period for the operating jurisdiction.]
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in the EU, EEA, the UK or Switzerland you also have the right to object to processing, to restrict it, to receive your data in a portable form, and to complain to your national data protection authority.
Every fan email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and every text can be stopped by replying STOP. Those take effect immediately and need no request.
For anything else, email onyx@gridlocktalent.com. We answer within 30 days.
OneGrid is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us data, email onyx@gridlocktalent.com and we will remove it.
When this policy changes materially we will say so on this page and update the date at the top.
